Things are seemingly getting interesting between dancehall king Vybz Kartel & young dancehall heavy weight Masicka. The musical relationship between both artist has taken a turn for the worst since the release of Masicka sophomore album “GOK” where Masicka made some king references in several songs on the album. The fans of Masicka would have then started to hail him as the new king of dancehall. Fans of Vybz Kartel would have objected strongly stating that Masicka does not have enough credentials to make such claim.

Things would would have appeared to be calm on the surface after Vybz Kartel freedom from a 13 year sentence and Masicka and Vybz Kartel appeared on several performances. Both artist was also seen having a drink along with popular producers Tj records & Skatta Burrell in the after math of the stage show.

Things started to go downhill once more since Reggea Sumfest where Vybz Kartel was being crowned, Jashii a associate and fellow artist took to the stage during Masicka set and declared to the artist “Me see crown a go so & crown a come so, but them no bad like you shoelace” .

This was not taken kindly by members of Vybz Kartel Gaza camp members as Mc Nuffy would be the first to express his disapproval for the comments, another camp member would have voiced his opinion on the matter.

Masicka would have then responded and called Mc Nuffy a “follow backa” & called Mad Suss a “Coke Head” and have since omitted the collaboration with Vybz Kartel from his performance set.

There has debates online recently on who is the G.O.A.T (Greatest of all times) of dancehall and names like Vybz Kartel, Sean Paul, Mavado & Beenie Man would show up quiet regularly in these debates. Masicka would have since then made a highly controversial move where he declared himself the goat of dancehall and released a single tittled “LA CABRA” around the subject matter.

The entertainer would have also brandished a diamond encrusted chain with a goat pendant. Vybz Kartel would have since taken to social media and stated “The delusions of these dancehall artist and there fans needs to be studied” #kingofdancehall #goat.

Masicka would have since responded subliminally with a instagram story update where he used a clip of rapper Mase, Where he is saying “when you are dealing with older people they are the last to know that things have changed”. This quickly sparked a ongoing debate online.

Addijah Palmer more popularly know as Vybz Kartel is now on his way to Dubai & Masicka hints that his third album may be on its way this winter.
